Post Aid is an illustrated documentation of the utility poles which are colloquially known as “electric posts” in India. These utility poles are used to support overhead power lines and various other utilities such as cable, fibre optic cable and related equipment such as transformers and street lights. These poles are a common sight on the streets and can also be seen as a navigating tool through- out the city by highlighting the advertisements and various other posters. Furthermore, this documentation focuses on how people make use of these utility poles for advertisement and promotion in Yelahanka New Town. It also im- parts insight as to how street vendors in KR market make use of these utility poles to support themselves

and use it as a medium to sell their products.
